The NewsVexa Community Guidelines explain how readers can participate in NewsVexa by sharing public-interest issues, observations, opinions, news tips, photographs and potential stories.
NewsVexa is built around an important idea:
News should not only be what a newsroom chooses to cover. People should also have a responsible way to bring forward what they see, experience and believe deserves public attention.
You may notice an important issue before any reporter does. NewsVexa wants to provide a responsible channel through which that issue can reach our editorial team.
However, public participation must work together with verification, fairness and responsibility.
1. What You Can Submit
Readers may submit information relating to matters such as:
- Local and civic issues
- Roads, water, sanitation or public infrastructure
- Education-related concerns
- Environmental issues
- Public-service problems
- Community initiatives
- Consumer or public-interest matters
- Events and developments
- Photographs or videos of newsworthy situations
- Story tips
- Personal observations
- Opinions and commentary
- Information that may require fact-checking
- Positive stories and community achievements
A story does not have to be nationally famous to matter.
Sometimes an issue affecting a neighbourhood, village, town or community deserves public attention too.
2. What Happens After You Submit?
Submission does not mean automatic publication.
After receiving material, NewsVexa may:
Review → Verify → Seek Context → Edit → Categorize → Publish or Decline
Depending on the nature of the submission, our editorial team may contact you for additional details.
Important factual claims may require supporting evidence before publication.
3. Help Us Verify Your Story
Whenever possible, provide:
Location: Where did it happen?
Date and Time: When did it happen?
Description: What exactly happened?
Evidence: Do you have photographs, videos or documents?
Source: How do you know about the issue?
Contact Information: How can our team contact you if clarification is required?
More complete information can help us understand and evaluate a submission.
4. Photos and Videos
You may submit photographs or videos that are relevant to a potential story.
Please submit original material whenever possible.
Do not deliberately present an old photograph or video as evidence of a new incident.
Do not intentionally alter media in a way that creates a false or materially misleading impression.
If the photo or video was created by someone else, tell us the source and ensure you have an appropriate right or permission to submit it where required.
5. Opinions Are Welcome
NewsVexa welcomes thoughtful opinions on issues of public interest.
However, opinion and factual reporting are not the same thing.
Opinion articles may be labelled as Opinion so readers can clearly understand the nature of the content.
Disagreement is acceptable. Deliberate misinformation, harassment and unsupported serious allegations are not.
6. Do Not Submit False Information
Do not knowingly submit:
- Fabricated stories
- Fake documents
- Deliberately manipulated evidence
- False quotations
- Impersonation
- Misleading images or videos
- Intentionally false allegations
NewsVexa may reject such material and may restrict accounts involved in serious or repeated misuse.
7. Allegations Against People or Organizations
If your submission makes a serious allegation about a person, business, institution, government body or other organization, provide as much verifiable supporting information as possible.
NewsVexa may seek additional evidence or an appropriate response from the affected party before publication.
An allegation is not automatically a proven fact.
8. Respect Privacy
Do not unnecessarily publish or submit another person’s highly sensitive personal information.
This can include private contact information, identification documents, financial information, passwords or other information that could create an unreasonable privacy or safety risk.
Where a story genuinely involves matters of public interest, NewsVexa may assess what information is appropriate to publish.
9. Children and Vulnerable People
Extra care should be taken when submitting content involving children or vulnerable individuals.
NewsVexa may withhold names, photographs or identifying details where publication could create unnecessary harm or privacy concerns.
10. Hate, Harassment and Threats
NewsVexa is intended for meaningful public participation.
Submissions containing unlawful threats, targeted harassment, hateful attacks or content intended primarily to intimidate or abuse others may be rejected.
Criticism of decisions, policies, organizations and public actions can be legitimate. Personal abuse is different from public-interest criticism.
11. Copyright
Submit material that you created yourself or that you have an appropriate right to provide.
Do not copy complete articles, photographs, videos or other copyrighted works from another publisher and present them as your own.
Where you rely on another source, provide appropriate source information.
12. Editing Submitted Content
Submitting material to NewsVexa does not guarantee that it will appear exactly as submitted.
Where appropriate, NewsVexa may edit submissions for:
Grammar • Clarity • Length • Formatting • Headline • Context • Accuracy • Safety • Legal considerations
We aim not to intentionally change the fundamental meaning of an opinion merely through routine editing.
13. Publication Is Not Guaranteed
NewsVexa receives editorial discretion over submissions.
A submission may not be published because it:
- cannot be sufficiently verified;
- lacks necessary evidence or context;
- duplicates an existing story;
- has limited public relevance;
- violates these guidelines; or
- presents other significant editorial, safety or legal concerns.
No payment or publication guarantee should be assumed merely because content was submitted.
14. Corrections After Publication
If a published public submission contains a meaningful factual error, NewsVexa may correct, clarify or update it.
Readers and contributors can report potential errors through our Contact Us page.
15. Your Voice Matters — Verification Matters Too
NewsVexa wants people to participate in journalism.
We want to hear about the road nobody is discussing, the community problem that needs attention, the initiative making a difference, the claim spreading online and the story people believe should be heard.
But giving everyone a voice does not mean treating every claim as automatically true.
Our model is simple:
You See It → You Raise It → We Review It → We Verify It → It May Become a Story
That distinction can become one of the core principles of NewsVexa.
Our Community Principle
Don’t just read what’s happening. Help bring important issues to attention.
NewsVexa aims to create a responsible connection between citizens, information and journalism.

Har Khabar Pe Sidhi Nazar.
